ACH Investment Group Partner Receives Volunteer Award

Stuart Rodwell, a partner with Raleigh-based ACH Investment Group, Inc.,
received an Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Wake County Board of
Commissioners earlier this month. These awards are handed out annually to
several dozen of the county's volunteer community to recognize exceptional
volunteer service. Rodwell received the award at a reception on April 2, 2001.
Rodwell has been described as "a faithful and flexible volunteer" for the
Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network. Since 1994, the Wake Interfaith
Hospitality Network and its Durham counterpart provide housing and support
for homeless families by organizing churches and synagogues to host the
families in fellowship halls and education buildings. Rodwell also recruits
volunteers for Benson Memorial United Methodist Church in Raleigh.
Rodwell said he was pleased and surprised by the honor and added that he
hoped the recognition provided to recipients of the Outstanding Volunteer
Award would serve as an incentive for others to volunteer. ACH Investment
president Janet Fox commented, "It's appropriate that Stuart should be
commended for all his volunteer efforts, especially with the very full work
schedule he adheres to. If Stuart can find time to volunteer, any of us can
make time."
