National Engineers Week Celebrates the Engineers Who Create the New Technologies that Revolutionize our World

It's that time of year! From February 17 – 23, The Professional Engineers of North Carolina (PENC), hopes to spark the interest of K-12 students to learn more about science, math, and engineering by sending hundreds of engineers to schools across North Carolina.
America's First Engineer – Words that have been used to describe our nation's founding father and first president.
Held annually—and very appropriately around the time of George Washington's birthday—Engineers Week is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce.
Aiming to encourage interest in engineering and technology careers among young students and to promote pre-college literacy in math and science, EWeek is among the oldest of America's professional outreach efforts.
